DJI Avata 2
Immersive FPV Flight Experience
Experience a new level of immersive flight with the DJI Avata 2, an FPV drone designed to bring dynamic aerial perspectives and intuitive motion-controlled flying to both beginners and experienced pilots. Its integrated propeller guards allow you to fly confidently in tight spaces, at low altitudes, indoors, and close to your subjects, opening up creative angles that are difficult to achieve with conventional camera drones.
Stunning 4K Imaging
The DJI Avata 2 features a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with 12 MP effective pixels and an ultra-wide 155° field of view, delivering an immersive perspective that puts you right in the action. It records 4K video at up to 60 fps and supports 4K/100fps slow-motion recording. The camera also supports 10-bit D-Log M, providing greater dynamic range and increased flexibility for professional color grading and post-production.
Advanced electronic stabilization with RockSteady 3.0+ and HorizonSteady keeps footage smooth and stable, even during high-speed flight and aggressive maneuvers. Gyroflow offline stabilization is also supported when electronic stabilization is disabled.
Intuitive Motion Control
Paired with the DJI RC Motion 3, the Avata 2 provides an intuitive motion-control experience that makes FPV flight easier to learn. Beginner-friendly controls allow you to take off, maneuver, and stop the drone with minimal effort, while Easy ACRO functions add dynamic aerial effects such as flips, rolls, and 180° drifts.
For experienced pilots, the DJI Avata 2 also supports Manual mode when paired with a compatible DJI FPV Remote Controller, providing greater freedom and control over flight.
Advanced Positioning and Safety
The Avata 2 incorporates integrated propeller guards and an upgraded visual positioning system with downward and backward binocular fisheye sensors, improving positioning and stability during low-altitude and indoor flights. The drone also supports automatic Return to Home (RTH) when the battery is low or the signal is lost.
DJI O4 HD Video Transmission
The DJI O4 video transmission system provides a high-definition live feed with a maximum transmission distance of up to 13 km under specified FCC testing conditions and a maximum video transmission bitrate of 60 Mbps. When paired with DJI Goggles 3, latency can be as low as 24 ms for a 1080p/100fps live feed.
Up to 23 Minutes of Flight Time
The DJI Avata 2 offers up to 23 minutes of flight time and supports PD fast charging. The charging hub also supports power accumulation, making it easier to manage multiple batteries during extended flying sessions. The drone has 46 GB of internal storage, providing ample space for recording footage without immediately requiring a memory card.
A New Perspective on FPV
With its ultra-wide 155° camera, immersive FPV experience, intuitive motion control, advanced stabilization, and integrated propeller guards, the DJI Avata 2 is designed for creators and pilots who want to capture fast, dynamic aerial footage from perspectives that conventional camera drones cannot easily provide.
